President + CEO
Michigan, United States
I am forever humbled to lead the W.K. Kellogg Foundation—and to serve its enduring mission—as its ninth president and CEO, the first woman and African American entrusted with this responsibility. Together with colleagues, grantees, and partners from around the world, I work to advance our founder’s charge: To ensure all children, regardless of race or place, can reach their full potential. For me, this commitment is personal. As a proud daughter of Detroit's East Side—the ninth of Herbert and Mary Louise Montgomery's ten kids—I see myself in the children, families, and communities we champion in our home of Battle Creek, MI, across the U.S., and around the world. My passion for their dignity, equity, and opportunity is embodied in WKKF’s values—and finds its clearest expression in our belief that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive and that the journey to a more equitable world for all children begins with racial healing.
