Fractional Demand Gen for Series A/B B2B SaaS | 30+ B2B Companies Managed | Marketing Systems & Architecture
United States
I build and mature demand gen functions for B2B SaaS.
Companies usually find me in one of two spots: there's no real demand gen function yet (sales is asking where pipeline comes from, someone's running "some ads"), or the function exists but nobody on the team has taken it from this stage to scale before.
Either way, I step in as the fractional demand gen leader (strategy AND execution) for sales-led teams between $5M and $50M ARR.
Here's the thing I tell every founder: "demand gen marketer" means about 12 different things. ABM specialists. Paid media operators. Lead gen machines. Ops-minded builders. All valuable, but they're different jobs. Hiring the wrong flavor for your stage costs you ~6 months and $250K.
I can spot the flavor you need because I've worn nearly every hat myself: copywriting, design (had a few billboards live!), PR, organic social, and paid, before demand gen became my whole job.
In-house, I ran marketing at a Series A SaaS company where we grew revenue 3x YoY and raised a $60M Series B round (~year from Series A) while I built the function from a solo marketer to a full team. I know what it's like to own the number, not just advise on it.
At Refine Labs, I led demand gen strategy for the firm's largest client accounts. Inside the engine rooms of some of the fastest-growing B2B SaaS companies, seeing what actually produces pipeline (and what just produces dashboards), while also building new offerings with the executive team.
Between those two seats and 30+ companies' worth of CRMs, I learned the thing no playbook admits: marketing performance is situational. Pattern recognition at scale, applied to your specific funnel: that's the actual job.
So that's what I do at GrowthLine Studio:
→ Diagnose the whole engine: paid, measurement, forecasting, lead handoff, team
→ Build or mature the function, hands-on with your team (I'm in the ad accounts, not just the deck)
→ Sit at the exec table on GTM planning: revenue forecasts the whole go-to-market team runs on
→ And when it's time: define the right hire, help you land them, and hand over a running engine
I'm not trying to stay forever. That's kind of the point. I come in, build, find the right hire, and leave the function better than I found it.
If your sales team needs more qualified pipeline and nobody owns demand gen yet, or it has room to mature, let's talk!
