The program typically consists of only 4-12 student associates that are each pre-approved by the instructor, Bryan Chambers. We invest in UTD-affiliated technology startups and handle every stage of the investment process, from generating deal flow to conducting due-diligence. After choosing one startup to invest in, we must present and defend our decision to local VCs, the BLP, and the IIE. As of January 2019, we invest $25,000 to $50,000 per startup (one per semester).
