Head of Compliance, Quality & Risk
Minster on Sea, England, United Kingdom
I'm a senior compliance, quality and risk leader with a passion for turning complex regulatory landscapes into clear, confident decision-making frameworks — and for building the cultures and teams that make that possible.
In my current role as Head of Compliance, Quality and Risk, I serve as a trusted advisor to the GRC Director and wider Senior Leadership team, with accountability spanning ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification, FCA compliance, enterprise risk management, and the Environmental and Governance pillars of ESG. I work closely with the Executive team and Board Committees to provide proportionate, evidence-based assurance that supports sustainable growth — not just regulatory box-ticking.
My approach is built on three things: rigorous governance, pragmatic problem-solving, and genuine investment in people. I believe the best compliance functions don't just protect organisations — they enable them. That means embedding risk and quality thinking into everyday decision-making, developing high-performing teams who own their work with real accountability, and building systems that are audit-ready every day, not just once a year.
Throughout my career I've developed deep expertise in UK regulatory frameworks, enterprise risk oversight, internal audit, policy governance and ISO standards — alongside the stakeholder influence and board-level communication skills to make that expertise count where it matters most.
