Threat Intelligence Researcher
Alexandria, Virginia, United States
I’m a Cybersecurity Professional with a passion for Security Engineering, Offensive Security and Threat Intelligence. Currently, I'm pursuing a B.S. in Computer Systems Engineering with a specialization in IoT (exp. Spring 2026) and working as a Research and Development Intern in Threat Intelligence and Automation, where I gather information through OSINT tools, research threats and develop automation tools. I’m also part of Academia de Ciberseguridad Cybersecurity Specialization, currently in the Ethical Hacking module.
I’m especially drawn to security engineering, threat intelligence and offensive security and I have a strong interest in how privacy, blockchain and embedded systems will shape the future in companion with AI.
I’ve earned industry certifications including CompTIA Security+ (SY0-701), Certiprof – Ethical Hacking Professional Certification (CEHPC), ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity, and Google Cybersecurity Certificate. Currently, I’m pursuing CompTIA Network+ and CySA+ Certifications by November of this year.
I’m fluent in Spanish, English, and German, and enjoy working across cultures and languages just as much as I do across fields. I’m always looking for new challenges to grow professionally and personally.
Music:
I’m a multidisciplinary professional with a background in classical and experimental music, now expanding my expertise into the world of cybersecurity and IoT. Originally trained as a classical pianist, I hold a degree in Music from the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC), where I studied under renowned artists and performed across Mexico and abroad as a soloist, accompanist, and ensemble musician.
Over the past decade, I’ve taught piano and music theory in institutions such as CEART Mexicali, Benning Academy of Music, and Artistic Talents (ICBC), while also exploring sound design and composition. My creative journey includes performing and composing classical, ambient music and live improvisation sets using the piano, synthesizers, beat machines.
In addition to my musical work, I’m a writer and poet. I’ve shared my poetry in a diverse range of events and settings, and I maintain a blog where I publish reflections, verse, and thoughts at the intersection of art, identity, and technology.
I’m driven by a passion for solving complex problems, whether in music, language, or secure systems. I’m always seeking new opportunities to grow and collaborate across disciplines.
