Ani, Senior Vice President of Engineering at DuckDuckGo, is an empathetic engineering leader with a passion for building engineering culture, an engineer by trade with expertise and a love for programming. He is a published author and a big fan of open-source software. He takes a keen interest in functional programming to develop distributed systems and, more recently, in the Site Reliability Engineering movement. Ani studied Internet Software Systems at the University of Birmingham, graduating in 2005 with a first-class MSc degree.
