Joel Barenco

I’m a versatile professional with over a decade of experience across startup and mature environments, spanning IT, Finance, and Supply Chain Management. For the past six years, I’ve focused on backend software engineering — building and scaling production systems in complex, microservice-based architectures — and developed a strong sense for balancing technical rigor with pragmatism and speed. Recently, I’ve been expanding into full-stack and product-oriented work, driven by a passion for creating tools and experiences that are both useful and delightful. I’m especially drawn to projects with social or human impact and to roles where I can combine technical depth with ownership and close collaboration. Outside of work, I’m deeply dedicated to my family, who keep me grounded and inspired.
