I sat on a key subcommittee and strongly informed details of bicycle and pedestrian design that have completely transformed the Wauwatosa Village.

    Milwaukee's bike share system was announced at a public event on August 6th, 2014. Ten Bublr Bike stations were installed within two weeks. By the end of 2015, the Bublr network contained 28 stations. During my tenure we grew the systems to the largest bike share system in the country among Milwaukee peer cities (over 50 stations).

    For the first time ever, the Wisconsin Bike Fed was a truly statewide organization. This program placed ambassadors in every corner of Wisconsin providing safety education programming. The Share & Be Aware program was the first statewide, grassroots bicycle and pedestrian safety program in the country. I provided the strategic guidance for the creation and implementation of this tremendous program.

    Biggest-Ever Bicycle Legislative Wins

    In June of 2009, Wisconsin bicycle earned its biggest legislatives wins ever: the country's first statewide Complete Streets statutes, the first ever and largest state funds for bicycle infrastructure ($5,000,000) and anti-dooring legislation. I played a central role in lobbying, activation of base and legislative strategy.

    I led a very large team of partners, architects, planners, attorneys, community residents and city officials to close the largest (at the time) redevelopment of public housing in the country. Parkside of Old Town Phase I was a complicated and large project ($84 MM) that included debt financing, low-income housing tax credits, municipal bonds, and various federal grants. The constructed project changed the face of Chicago's northside and signaled the transformation of the Cabrini-Green public housing project.
