    Core engineer for the Grub Project, a distributed computing platform based on client/server architecture. Grub took advantage of idle and unused computing resources (memory, CPU, storage) and we were able to develop a general purpose distributed platform. One of the usages of such platform was crawling and categorizing of the Web.
    At LookSmart I was part of developing the next generation of Grub client and server platform, which could scale up to 10K clients. We were able to accomplish that by releasing several versions of Grub client and server. Implemented pattern matching techniques that would process URL contents and categorize them. Extensive work on improving the processing of Robots.txt pages.
