GovCon Manager of Professional Services at Ntiva | IT Solutions Leader | Project Management Expert | Client Relationship Builder
Ohio, United States
As a Project Engineering Manager at Ntiva, I lead the engineering pod behind our government contracting practice — delivering the infrastructure, identity, and compliance work that lets defense contractors and federal suppliers meet their obligations without grinding their operations to a halt.
My focus sits where engineering meets compliance: CMMC Level 2 and NIST 800-171 readiness, Microsoft 365 (including GCC and GCC High), Entra ID and hybrid identity, Intune and CIS benchmark endpoint hardening, Azure and AVD, network security, and the PowerShell automation that turns one-off heroics into repeatable delivery.
Over 15+ years I've worked as a Managing Partner of a local MSP, Solutions Architect, vCIO, and IT Consultant — which means I've sat on both sides of the table: scoping the work, selling it honestly, and then owning whether it lands on time and on budget. That perspective, plus the discipline I picked up as a United States Marine, shapes how I run a team.
What I bring:
Project & Delivery Leadership — Running a portfolio of concurrent migrations, hardening, and infrastructure projects with real accountability for margin, utilization, and delivery dates.
Compliance Engineering — Translating CMMC and NIST 800-171 control requirements into actual technical configurations and evidence, not spreadsheets full of good intentions.
Solutions Architecture — Designing M365, Azure, and identity solutions built for the client's constraints, not the vendor's slide deck.
Team Development — Building engineers who can operate independently in a regulated environment, and creating the standards and documentation that let them.
Client Partnership — Acting as a trusted advisor through the work, especially when the honest answer isn't the easy one.
Currently pursuing CISSP to deepen the security governance side of the practice.
Always open to connecting with others working in the GovCon, MSP, and compliance space — particularly anyone wrestling with CMMC readiness in the real world.
