Boniso is a seasoned Hospitality Trainer, and a Self taught Chef, who is eager to develop more, and try to uplift the quality standard of food and training within the hospitality industry. He can easily engage with any Hotelier, due to his experience of working in different sectors, within the Hospitality industry.
Boniso, has worked in 5 star establishments for the past 10 years, as a Trainer, Lecturer, and Learning and Development manager.
Boniso, initially worked as a general worker, and as a Chef Trainee for an African Sun Lodge in Midrand, South Africa, from the year 2000 up to 2006, these were his years of his informal training and education, which led to him acquiring a B-Tech degree in Food Service Management. During these training years, he had an opportunity to do an internship program in Neuchatel, Switzerland.
After obtaining a formal qualification, he had an opportunity to go and work for the Namibian government as a Trainer/Lecturer for a Hospitality Training institute (Valombola Training Center) in Oshakati Namibia, from 2007 up to the end of 2009.
He returned to South Africa, and worked as a Training Officer, forming part of the Opening Team for the Radissonblu Gautrain Hotel. his duties at this point were to establish and control systems within the hotel, he trained every employee of the hotel, for 2 years.
In 2013, he started at the International Hotel School, as a Trainer/Lecturer and his duties were to teach fresh students, straight from Matric, as well as training people who have some experience in the Hospitality industry.
In 2016, he then joined the Hilton International Hotel in Sandton South Africa, as a Learning and Development Manager.
His passion for Training is so great and he would like to see more graduates and Team members, who will uphold the flag of maintaining and uplifting the standards within the Tourism and Hospitality industry.
