A Review On Mobile Fronthaul And Backhaul Construction Techniques For 5G.
Global Conference on wireless and Optical Communication (GC-WOC18)
    Oct 2018
This paper considers different approaches for constructing cellular network that can support 5G era and beyond it. At first, it goes through the details of current architecture of radio access network (RAN) which comprises of mobile fronthaul (MFH) and mobile backhaul (MBH). The MFH and MBH are to be renewed with latest techniques in terms of bandwidth, this paper reviews different approaches and highlights the appropriate technique while considering latency and jitter requirements. Moreover, this paper discusses optical access techniques to vastly deploy small cells and enhance bandwidth.
