I served as Founding Engineer for an asynchronous decision-making platform for self-organizing teams, leading a team of 6 engineers and building the core system architecture from the ground up.

- Built production-ready process-based editor with atomic edit system using ULIDs (Unique Lexicographically Sortable Identifiers) - implemented write-ahead log, synchronized edits to remote database, and propagated changes to subscribing clients in real-time while maintaining atomicity for concurrent multi-user editing.

I was also the Kid's Camp leader for 3 kid's camps, spending 8 hours a day, for a week at a time, teaching the children about environmental stewardship & kayaking skills.
