    Cardagraph
    Aug 2022 - Current (3 years 10 months)
Product estimation and delivery is a little bit of experience, a little bit of guessing, and a little bit of magic. Cardagraph solves this problem by first learning how your teams operate and then predicting completion of future projects. Basing estimations in reality removes the guessing and magic placing delivery squarely in experience--something we can all understand. Creating a team capable of this kind of complex->simple transformation is my goal and priority. Building Cardagraph to scale, be simple to use, and effective in solving our core customer's problems is what I'm all about.

    Missionary Training Center
    Sep 2015 - Dec 2019 (4 years 4 months)
Integrate, clean, manage, and sort through all kinds of data. But the best part is helping to change the culture to look at data for insights and plan actions and improvement in their business decisions. Once the data are in order I'm looking forward to analyzing the data to predict and inform future planning. Using SAS Data Management (Data Integration Studio and DataFlux) and Visual Analytics along with traditional SAS programming and PDF/HTML/Excel report generation and distribution via Stored Processes and email. I am leading out in training the organization on what that software can do and how to go about it.

Currently I am working on integrating legacy data systems with Qualtrics survey (as an assessment engine) data into business feedback dashboards. We are using Tableau now but could be using any other BI suite in the future. This work includes everything from deep database work to the fun of designing the analyses and display of data so it contributes to intelligence as well as working with consumers to help them understand how decisions are made with data. As per my job description: Conduct research into and evaluate missionary training programs including language learning. Investigate various areas of the MTC to improve functionality and effectiveness. I am tasked with providing feedback to the organization for continuous improvement.

Conduct research into and evaluate missionary training programs including language learning. Our projects range from "How would impact missionary language acquisition?" to "What do missionaries think of the cafeteria?" to providing data and analyses that help inform small changes that impact institutional effectiveness. We often used mixed method approaches. We use SAS to do our analyses. I use SAS to invite (via email) and track completions of questionnaires and assessments both at the MTC and LDS missionaries around the world when needed.
