I am a finance and grants management professional with over 17 years of experience leading financial operations for international development and conservation programs across Africa, Latin America, and Asia.
Throughout my career, I have managed complex multi-donor portfolios exceeding USD 120 million, supporting programs funded by major global institutions including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, World Bank, USAID, GIZ, EU, SIDA, NORAD, DANIDA, UKAID, IFAD, UNEP, CGIAR, and WWF.
My expertise spans financial strategy, grants and donor compliance, ERP implementation, financial governance, and internal control systems. I have successfully led financial oversight for large-scale programs, strengthened institutional financial systems, and supported organizations in building robust finance and compliance frameworks.
Currently, I serve as Finance Manager at San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance – Kenya, where I lead financial planning, grants management, procurement oversight, and the development of institutional financial policies for a newly established conservation organization.
Previously, I held senior finance leadership roles with CIFOR-ICRAF, ThinkWell Institute, WWF-Kenya, and several global development initiatives, supporting program delivery and ensuring compliance with complex donor requirements.
