  • G
    Senior Software Engineer
    Glossicom
    Apr 2012 - Dec 2014 (2 years 9 months)
Glossi is an online publishing platform that allows anyone to make their own digital magazine that looks great on any device. Glossi was in its infancy when I started so I've had the opportunity to help build out entire portions of the site from the ground up. This has included setting front end code standards and enforcing them through code reviews as well as building out advanced, Photoshop-esque features of our browser based magazine creator. In addition, I've built features up from the database tables (MySQL) through the backend layers (using Python with Django) and views all the way into the front end Javascript, HTML and CSS.
  • G
    Co-Founder & CTO
    GonnaBe
    Jan 2012 - May 2012 (5 months)
Built the GonnaBe iOS app (using HTML5, Javascript and Phonegap) as well as the GonnaBe API (PHP and MySQL) from scratch through launch and update. I collaborated with my co-founders (strategy and UX + Visual Design) to develop the entire concept of the app as well as create a product roadmap and manage the agile workflow (Pivotal Tracker). We went from concept to launch in under six weeks - staying true to the lean startup mentality of getting a product into the market to test as soon as possible.

It might seem weird to list a graduate program as a job and an education. Weird, of course, unless that program is Boulder Digital Works.
