K.C. joined Juul Labs as Chairman & CEO in September 2019, bringing over 20 years of experience in product development and regulatory engagement. Throughout his tenure at Juul Labs, K.C. has strategically oriented the company around the importance of rigorous, science-based regulation and responsible innovation. Under his leadership Juul Labs secured FDA Marketing Granted Orders for the original JUUL System and implemented a comprehensive companywide underage use prevention program that decreased youth use of JUUL products by over 99%. K.C. remains focused on ensuring Juul Labs continues to transform the market of better alternatives for adults who smoke and, ultimately, eliminate cigarettes around the world. Prior to joining Juul Labs, he served as Chief Growth Officer of Altria, where he spent several years overseeing development of smokefree products. K.C. graduated from Marquette University with a B.S. in Business Administration and earned his MBA from Providence College.
