    Effective Altruism
    Jun 2022 - Aug 2022 (3 months)
    What is effective altruism?

Everyone wants to do good, but many ways of doing good are ineffective or actively harmful. The EA movement arose out of a desire to make sure that attempts to do good actually work.

This led to many ideas like the following:

    - When choosing what to fund or work on, we shouldn't go for what's most personal or accessible to us.

Comparison of different mobility and vehicle concepts in the field of electric mobility
    Jul
The implementation of electric cars is seen as one way to reduce the emissions of the traffic sector and to achieve Austria’s goals in the Kyoto-Protocol. But it is controversial if this technology is causing less greenhouse gas emissions than comparable gasoline vehicles. In ad-dition there is the general opinion that electric cars are not cost-effective. Therefore the aim of this thesis is to compare the impacts to the environment and make a cost effective analysis of different driving trains. The required data was gathered via literature research in books, scientific studies, reports, journals and websites.
