Industrial Engineer from "Facultad de Minas de la Universidad Nacional". Also holds a Specialization degree in Data Science & Analytics from the same university and currently pursuing a Master's of Engineering degree with a research interest in natural language processing. I started in the cement industry, where I performed multiple roles as project manager for engineering projects and operations professionals. The principal task was to integrate the technical, business, and commercial areas under different data-driven models to make better decisions. After that, I entered the Information Technology sector, where I performed as a Data Scientist and Lead Data Scientist in developing data-driven products and specialized consultant with clients. Later, I acted as a Data Scientist in the financial sector, where the principal task was to create and execute the data strategy to simplify the lending processes to small companies and help develop systems that give the client better experiences with financial products. Currently, I'm working as an Engineer Lead of Machine Learning & Operations Research at Rappi, leading the Dispatching, Routing, Simulations & Estimations teams. Within all the different fields of Data Science, I enjoy the most: Statistics, Operations Research, Simulation of processes, and Machine Learning for business decisions.
