My professional career and education revolve around my passion for the world around me.
Growing up in San Francisco, one of the most diverse and socially aware cities in the US, I was exposed to a variety of identity and social issues that fueled my passion for justice.
Much of my academic work has focused on art as a method of resistance for marginalized communities.
During my graduate studies, I was able to conduct unique and individualized research, both quantitatively and qualitatively.
The influence of diversity from both San Francisco and New York City has further advanced my interests in advocacy and artistic expression.
My past experience working with social justice NGOs and media outlets has contributed to my awareness of different communities and my desire to make a positive contribution to the world around me.
I enjoy working with groups and collaborating on projects in order to discuss different viewpoints and build upon one another.
