Juan is a self-taught technology expert and entrepreneur, with vast experience in the video game industry and leadership roles. He is also the creator and lead developer of Godot, a popular open source game engine.

Besides his ample work as tech consultant and founder of many successful companies in Latin America (NGD, Codenix and Okam), Juan is committed to fostering and promoting game development. He does this via his volunteer work in Godot Engine, and via FUNDAV, a foundation he and others created to promote game development in Latin America.
