Robust MIMO PID controller for high-angle-of-attack-missiles
    Jul 2016 - Nov 2016 (5 months)
Modelled the aerodynamics for a high-angle-of-attack missile and helped develop a Robust MIMO PID controller using the model. Due to high angle of attack, the pitch, yaw and roll moments are coupled and hence individual SISO PID controllers do not work, therefore a single MIMO controller was needed which could effectively control all the coupled moments.

Optimal Multi-Robot Exploration for Static Environments
    Jul 2015 - May 2016 (11 months)
Optimized the exploration or surveillance cost of an unknown environment associated with uncertainty by a group of coordinated robots. The paths were described as continuous parametric functions which can be manipulated by their parameters. The cost function taken into account was the total uncertainty of mission space points and the path parameters were updated using the derivative of the uncertainty with respect to parameters thus reducing the cost in the process. Algorithm was developed in MATLAB and tested on a group of Quadcopters.
