Summary of some successful working achievements: - Built a Warehousing and Distribution company and a Supermarket from the ground up when arrived in Nelspruit in 1999. The Supermarket was sold in 2007 and to date, 2022 is still operating successfully. - Created a fully dedicated Commercial Metering Team in the Commercial Department which has drastically improved metering activities and efficiencies. - Re-shaped the Commercial Department Organogram to contain costs and improve efficiencies. Activities were successful in reducing staff and overall costs over the past years. (This is still an ongoing process) - Took the lead when appointed as Customer Services Manager – NST in 2007 by revising and optimizing all ISO procedures related to the Commercial Department. (This remains an ongoing process) - Introduced a new rule in 2008 whereby only owners and or their proxies are allowed to open water accounts thereby mitigating the risks posed when allowing tenants to open water accounts. The idea was met with resistance at first (especially by estate agents) however when all concerned were explained the greater good of why this change, they quickly became allies in ensuring its success.
