I've collected a network of experts on various topics who are often featured as talking heads in my evergreen pieces. I edit scripts for my teammates, elevating the writing, the voice, and the content. I'm often behind the camera shooting B-Roll or an interview for whatever my team is working on at the moment. The videos I produce for Tech Insider often hit 1 million views or more on YouTube, and sometimes even more on other platforms.

The fast-paced, high-stress environment of a daily business news show should not be underestimated. I produced, scripted, hosted, voiced over, and sometimes shot and edited 8 or more video features a month. Each had to be high quality, accurate, and quickly turned around. In its first season, Business Insider Today amassed over 1 million followers, published 248 episodes, and earned tens of millions of views. A feature I produced on the price of caviar lead our most watched episode of all time, getting over 3 million views. Freelance Writer and Editor

I used my seemingly useless knowledge of miscellaneous things to ghostwrite Amish romance novellas, edit YA novels about Japanese schoolgirls and cat robots, research and write the pub quizzes of my dreams -- basically anything that sparked my interest and put money in my bank account. Sometimes this meant being a part-time editor for an infographics website. Other times it meant writing emails from the perspective of a giantess who intends to squish her penpal. The point is, I'm versatile. Whatever the need -- creative writing, editing, research, character development, establishing tone, proofreading, etc. -- I helped clients create the quality content they asked for.

I was a part of a skeleton crew of employees trying to revive a 50-year-old nonprofit, so Community Strategist doesn't quite sum up what I did here. I was also a graphic designer, sales person, web designer, volunteer coordinator, event planner, social media manager, photographer, interviewer, content producer, seminar leader, and more. Along with the organization's Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn accounts, I managed the Board Chair's as well.

I created original content based on community generated responses to polls and prompts. I worked with local organizations like animal shelters and elementary schools to report on small stories with big impact.
