I am a journalist and creative storyteller, specialized in Non-Fiction, with more than 20 years of experience in the media, news agencies, editorials and storytelling development for various companies, podcasts, and film and television production companies. My ability to identify and select content in a structured way allows me to develop texts with agility and tell highly engaging real stories that look like something out of a movie, which guarantees the attraction of different audiences. A solid academic background, which includes studies at the Gabriel García Márquez Nobel Prize for Literature School of Journalism, supports my command of the different journalistic genres and guarantees excellent spelling, application of style standards and a seasoned talent for interviewing sources, research topics and connect with audiences in a new, engaging and dynamic way. Always proactive, purposeful and exhaustive, I have provided my services as a freelancer in the development of high-quality original content for publications such as Esquire, Rolling Stone Latin America, Loft, Interviú, Don Juan, Bocas, Gatopardo, VanityFair en Español and the Relatto website. com. Likewise, I have worked as a news editor for the EFE Agency (from Spain) and as a correspondent in Colombia for the Sputnik news agency (from Russia), which has given me a high speed of work -sometimes remotely, others in situ- in an environment of constant change in issues such as economy, politics, culture, technology and environment, among others. And since the creation of original content is as exciting as it is overwhelming for me, I have written three Non-Fiction books. In fact, my best known book, 'ALIAS', published by Penguin Random House (PRH) and which tells the story of the most wanted Colombian swindler in the world, was acquired as an option by Sony Pictures International in 2014 to adapt it to film and/or television, a process in which I worked as a script consultant. Two years ago I also served as a consultant for the Canadian documentary production company CMJ Productions, which made an episode of the Impostors series for the Investigation Discovery channel based on another of my books, 'The Impostor' (Debate, 2011).
