Christian Gerron brings more than 25 years of global B2B experience leading diverse teams in travel and digital media technologies. He is a transformative leader with a proven track record for exceptional partner satisfaction results, leading organizational health scores, and a history of consistently exceeding annual operating objectives. As an operator, Gerron puts rigor in operational excellence, process optimization, and reorganization of teams to meet evolving market needs. He is known for continuously incubating new ideas and finding paths to disrupt existing market models. Gerron is a general manager with a multi-functional background in finance, strategy, operations, analytics, sales, business development, customer success, strategy, and overseeing product and technology teams.
Gerron is currently the Chief Revenue Officer of StackAdapt, a market leading programmatic advertising platform, helping brands and agencies maximize customer engagement and acquisition. In his role as CRO, Gerron oversees a global team of ~1000 across all revenue functions, including business development, sales, client success, sales enablement, rev ops, and analytics.
Prior to StackAdapt, Gerron was Senior Vice President of Expedia Group, overseeing the media and advertising business, enterprise travel partnerships, and the global affiliate network. These teams externalized the best of Expedia Group’s technology to power thousands of partners globally, including financial institutions, e-commerce platforms, loyalty groups, social platforms, destination management organizations, and more. His teams were responsible for the commercial relationships, operations, strategy, and the product and engineering teams that built the advertising and enterprise travel platforms. He was also responsible for architecting Expedia Group’s industry-leading Optimized Distribution program to help hotel chains maximize their efficacy and control of their third-party distribution.
Before Expedia Group, Gerron spent 15 years at Microsoft where he was General Manager of Global Programmatic Ad Sales, transforming the advertising business into a programmatic-first model. He also oversaw global agency teams, national mid-market teams, inside sales, strategic accounts, and led the US ad operations of the Microsoft Advertising business. Throughout Gerron’s tenure at Microsoft, he was crucial in negotiating and landing strategic partnerships, including MSNBC, Fox Sports and AOL/Verizon.
