During my early career in leave, I saw HR teams working tirelessly as the human side of leave got lost in the paperwork. Dedicated, caring people got buried under manual processes that left little room to support employees during the most challenging moments in their lives. Leave was often treated as an operational afterthought, even though it was (and still is) critical for employee well-being, retention, and business continuity. I knew there was a better way for HR to manage the complexity of leave and accommodations with confidence while maintaining the humanity that employees deserve. I was lucky to be part of a talented founding team that built AbsenceSoft to give HR the tools they need to navigate the complexity of leave and accommodations with confidence and care. Our solution combines compliance across the FMLA, ADA, PWFA, and 200+ state leave laws with a deeply human approach. Today, AbsenceSoft has grown to more than 180 employees, but our supportive, caring, and innovative work culture has not changed. After more than a decade, AbsenceSoft continues to grow across industries, supporting more than 350 employers and seven million lives.
