Kurt Muehmel

I've spent 11 years at Dataiku, joining as employee #20 and helping scale the company through every stage from scrappy startup to enterprise leader. I've built and led teams across sales, sales engineering, and customer success, including leading our expansion into the US market. More recently, as Head of AI Strategy, I advise our C-Suite on market and technology shifts and bring Dataiku's vision to analysts, media, and customers worldwide. My core expertise is helping B2B technology companies figure out go-to-market, particularly the problems that look like strategy questions but are actually organizational ones, or the US expansion that stalls because nobody anticipated how different the motion would be. I've lived the journey from first customers to global scale, and I've been surprised enough times myself to know what's hiding in the dark. In my free time I run, cycle, and write fiction, all as means to process what it means to be human in the era we are living through.
