Surprisingly, I started my career as an investment banker. It taught me many things, but most importantly, I realized that despite being a great performer, that was not my purpose in this world.

So, I stopped for a journey of self-discovery. I spent 3.5 years on the road and visited over 50 countries, volunteering and learning as much as I could. It would be difficult to describe how much traveling has changed me, but it's easy to see how it has helped me find a way to change the world. People with less resources, less inspiration, less drive, or just in search of self-knowledge. Everyone, eventually.

At the end of that incredible trip, I co-founded Worldpackers, a platform that, 9 years later, brings together more than 4 million passionate travelers who contribute to making a positive impact in more than 140 countries around the world. I also have a podcast in portuguese, Abrindo Caminhos, with 500,000+ listeners.
