Mike Rogers

Mike Rogers is currently the Head of Sales and Marketing at Metify, an award-winning SAAS company that makes the discovery, provisioning, and maintenance of servers simple. Prior to Metify, Mike was most recently the Head of Crowdfunding at Securitize Markets, a registered broker-dealer. He also led Decentralized Finance (DeFi) market strategy for Securitize iD (verifiable credential) and Securitize iD for DeFi (on-chain attestation system) for Securitize. Additionally, Mike was previously responsible for business development and partnerships at Securitize, Inc. Before Securitize, Mike was a research analyst at The Block Research (TBR) where he helped establish the foundation for TBR's long-form digital assets research reports business by co-authoring "A Global Look at Central Bank Digital Currencies" (CBDC Whitepaper) and "Stablecoins: Bridging the Network Gap between Traditional Money and Digital Value" and authoring "The State of the Digital Assets Data and Infrastructure Landscape, 2021" (D&I Report). The CBDC Whitepaper (17K downloads in 1 month) is cited in the National Bank of Kazakhstan’s "Digital Tenge Public Discussion Report" and is also included on the World Economic Forum's "Central Bank/Macroeconomics CBDC and DLT Research List." In 2018, Mike founded Millennials In Blockchain (MIB), a globally distributed learning collaborative whose members share a passion for Industry 4.0 technologies. Before joining The Block Research, Mike served as the head of MIB Consulting, a New York-based digital finance transformation firm. MIB Consulting provides tailored research and analysis, advisory, and strategic planning services to agents of the new digital economy. Mike’s independent research has been distributed by numerous corporations, including Deloitte and Securitize, Inc. His tokenization research was published in "The Definitive Guide to Blockchain for Accounting and Business: Understanding the Revolutionary Technology," a book by Emerald Publishing Limited. Mike formerly worked in financial services at EY and The Blackstone Group L.P. He holds a B.S. in finance and an M.S. in accounting from The University at Albany, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.
