Klinton Miyao

I've spent my career at the intersection of legal, people, and business strategy, at companies where growth is fast and the decisions are high-stakes. At Human Interest, I serve as CLO, CPO, and President of Human Interest Advisors, the company's SEC-registered investment adviser. We administer 401(k) plans for small and mid-sized businesses, and we've grown into a mature, fast-scaling organization. My work spans corporate governance, capital markets, employment law, commercial contracts, and people strategy, built to support a company operating at this level of complexity. Before Human Interest, I was VP Legal at Sunrun, one of the nation's largest residential solar companies, where I led across litigation, employment, compliance, and legal operations. That public company experience, combined with what I've built at Human Interest, gives me a perspective that spans both sides of the private-public divide. Earlier in my career I worked at Morrison and Foerster and held operational roles at Liberty Mutual and The Capital Group Companies. I hold a JD from the University of Virginia and an AIF certification, and I'm active in TechGC and PeopleTech Partners. I'm always interested in connecting with executives and operators at fast-growing, tech-forward companies where legal and people leadership has real operational weight.
