Sam Swan

I’m an engineer-turned-operator with deep experience transforming and scaling industrial businesses. From my start in Cooper Industries’ Operations Leadership Program, to global product management, and ultimately to turning around a struggling West Coast operation, I've consistently delivered results through cross-functional collaboration, process innovation, and team empowerment. As Global Product Manager at PDI, I worked across Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Finance to grow market-leading product lines, enhance quality, and adapt to evolving market dynamics. Later, I led a 175-person team to revitalize operations, significantly improving profit margins through continuous improvement and manufacturing process redesign. Today, I serve as CEO of TaskRay, leading a Salesforce-native customer onboarding platform designed to help organizations deliver seamless, scalable implementations. My goal: empower teams to onboard customers faster, more efficiently, and with greater consistency. Rooted in my background as a process engineer, I bring a Six Sigma and continuous improvement mindset to TaskRay, ensuring that the same principles of efficiency and consistency are at the heart of the value we deliver to our customers. I earned my MBA in Finance from UCLA Anderson and hold a degree in Engineering & Management (with distinction) from Clarkson University. These experiences have shaped how I blend analytical rigor with operational execution.
