To establish these businesses, the program identified entrepreneurs and used an incubator approach that combined financial co-investment with rigorous business and agronomic training for staff. By program close, and in 12 calendar months of business operation, the six FSCs collectively reported $3.2MM in sales and over $1.7MM in private investment contributed by the entrepreneurs.
