I have personally interviewed more than 1000 remote/nomadic professionals over the last three years. That's more than 750 hours spent learning about the many different people who work remotely whilst travelling the world.And here's what I've learnt...As humans, we all want to belong. Most of us want to grow professionally. And many of us are also driven to explore the world. But often, these things don't go together. No matter how confident you feel about travelling, most of us will come to an inevitable point of social burnout - a feeling of hollowness left behind from meeting a turnstile of new people who leave your life as quickly as they come in. It's like having a series of one-night-stands - fun for a while, but it doesn't take long until you're craving the comfort and security that can only come from a more meaningful relationship.But what if it is possible to have it all - travel the world, build your career, and feel like you belong?That's exactly what I've dedicated myself to. I'm on a mission to prove that travel, work, and that all-important sense of belonging, can co-exist. The result of that mission is WiFi Tribe.For the past 9 years, I've travelled alongside the most inspiring, curious, humble, heart-warming people I've ever met. And in their company, I feel completely at home. This community of 700 active, amazing humans and 2,500+ alumni is so much more to me than a business.
