- Involved in the development of an in-house 3D flow solver (Diablo)
- Developed error analysis tool for 2D and 3D aerodynamics problems using Fortran 90, which was then used in the study of Mesh Refinement in another graduate student's research
- Analyzed different higher order discretization methods used in CFD
- Achieved the goal of utilizing Adjoints in CFD to make good approximations to the converged aerodynamics functionals, which significantly reduces the total run time of the flow solver
- Worked with supercomputer facilities such as High Performance Advanced Computing Facility and SCINET
- Attended several seminars and talks given by representatives from NASA, MIT, JPL, and etc.
- Coded a large and efficient linear system solver (
