Brian Requarth founded VivaReal now ZAP Viva Real Group (GZVR). The new company is the result of a merger of the two leading online real estate businesses in Brazil. The group combined the two most trafficked consumer real estate marketplaces, ZAP and Viva Real. The company also combined suahouse and sub100, leading CRM companies as well as DataZAP and Geoimovel, the leading real estate data analytics companies. The Group works everyday to improve the process of buying, selling and renting property in Brazil.
GZVR has 26 offices across the country and generates 4 million contacts a month for the thousands of real estate agents, brokers and homebuilders that advertise over 7 million properties. The Group’s major shareholders are Grupo Globo, Latin America’s largest media company as well as venture investors Monashees, Kaszek, Spark Capital, Valiant Capital, Dragoneer and Lead Edge.
