EV Charging | Ex-Tesla | Submarine Veteran

If there is anything that I love to do, it is solve problems. I love the idea that a group of intelligent and diverse people can get together and become greater than the sum of their experiences.
Nothing cemented my love for applying brain power to complex problems like my experience in the Nuclear Navy. As a submarine officer, efficiency was the name of the game, and it was the efficiency and relative sustainability of a submarine that inspired me to pursue higher education in energy engineering.
My Master's program introduced me to the Systems Engineering model, which provided me a foundation and structure for my passion. Through the Systems Engineering process, teams of experts in various fields are brought together to accomplish feats of engineering that could never have been possible before, such as the space shuttle. The Navy also introduced me to this concept in a non-engineering context, through years of project management and leadership of cross functional teams.
I was fortunate to have the opportunity to use my experiences with engineering, leadership, and energy systems together for five years on the Tesla Commercial Charging team, and I am proud for my part in accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy. I strongly desire to continue to have an impact by working on complex engineering projects to provide clean, sustainable energy at any and all levels - from improving the efficiency of electronic devices on a satellite to designing a renewable power system for our growing energy needs - all using the leadership, program management, and engineering principles that brought me where I am today.
Core Competencies:
Sustainability | Energy Engineering | Nuclear | Infrastructure Deployment | Program Management | Planning | Training | Permitting | Chemistry | Power Generation, Distribution, and Storage | Renewable Energy | Cross Functional Teams |
