VP, Total Rewards & People Operations
Stamford, Connecticut, United States
I’ve always enjoyed a game of poker. Texas hold’em mostly. Now, before you think, “Gambling!” let me reframe that. Poker isn’t just luck. It’s a masterclass in strategy. Every hand is a problem to solve.
Balancing card strategy, position strategy, player reads, chip management, and more.
(Fun fact: courts in some jurisdictions have even ruled poker is predominantly a game of skill.)
My point is this:
I love poker because it’s all about problem-solving.
And that’s exactly what my career is built on.
As a Total Rewards & People Operations professional, I’ve spent 20 years tackling the ultimate problem:
How do you reward people in a way that drives success, feels fair, and aligns with a company’s mission?
All while keeping the SLT happy?
Currently, as VP, Total Rewards & People Ops at Juniper Square, I like to think I work at the intersection of innovation and structure, like building a rocket-ship while it’s launching.
I aim to bring serious experience and a light-hearted perspective to every challenge I manage.
HR might not always be fancy, but it doesn’t mean it can’t be fun!
When not working, I’ll be guiding my kids to learn the world map
(how else will they know where to take me when I retire?).
Or cracking up at the many jokes my talented animator husband makes
(even when he’s not funny - you know, like a pity laugh).
Beyond that, I’m passionate about sharing what I’ve learned.
I share content on pay, benefits and people insights (Follow me!).
I’m also a mentor on ADPList where I help professionals with any career complexities.
Book time with me if you want mentoring
(NO sales bookings on ADPList please - I’ll just block you.
It’s serious work trying to 𝚒̶𝚗̶𝚜̶𝚝̶𝚛̶𝚞̶𝚌̶𝚝̶ ̶𝚙̶𝚎̶𝚘̶𝚙̶𝚕̶𝚎̶ ̶𝚘̶𝚗̶ ̶𝚠̶𝚑̶𝚊̶𝚝̶ ̶𝚝̶𝚘̶ ̶𝚍̶𝚘̶ ̶ advise people how to bring their best selves to work!)

Also, I am committed to continuous learning and improvement.
I'm always seeking to expand my knowledge and skills in this dynamic field.
I am always a work-in-progress.
I don't like the word "expert".
Who judges if someone is an expert, really?
Although I have a proven track record of high performance, consistently exceeding expectations in various organizations.
So that helps for validation, I suppose.
