As a dedicated bioengineering student, I am passionate about leveraging engineering and biomedical research to improve patient outcomes and address complex healthcare challenges. My interests are in biotechnology, drug development, pharmaceuticals, cell and gene therapies, biomaterials, and translational medicine. Currently, I conduct research in the Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering Laboratory at UNH, where I work on hydrogel-based systems and cellular engineering approaches with potential applications in targeted drug delivery and cancer therapies. Through this work, I have gained experience in biomaterials synthesis, cell culture, microscopy, spectroscopy, and scientific communication while contributing to innovative research with real-world impact. In addition to research, I serve as a PLTL coordinator and leader for general chemistry courses, where I mentor students and help foster collaborative, problem-solving learning environments. These experiences have strengthened my leadership, communication, and teamwork skills while reinforcing my passion for STEM education and mentorship. I am also an Oncology Immune Therapies Intern at Novartis, where I have the opportunity to work alongside scientists developing innovative therapies aimed at improving the lives of patients facing serious diseases. My long-term goal is to pursue a Ph.D. and contribute to research that advances treatments of cancer and rare diseases. I am driven by curiosity, collaboration, a commitment to lifelong learning, and I strive to bridge the gap between scientific discovery and meaningful impact in the field.
