I am a passionate and motivated individual who fights for the rights of Street Children worldwide through my work at Street Child United.I have over 20 years experience in the not for profit sector focusing on sports, arts, advocacy and campaigning, this has enabled me to develop Street Child United into a world class organisation. Street Child United uses the power of sport and the arts to challenge the negative perceptions and treatment of millions of street children across the world. The charity is widely known for its flagship initiative, the Street Child World Cup – an international football tournament uniting teams of street children from across the world to play football and call for their rights to be realised. As part of The Queen’s 2015 Birthday Honours List, I received the British Empire Medal (BEM) which recognises innovative and high impact work over a short duration (3-‐4 years).I have followed Swansea City for 49 years and with my daughters seen them play at 46 different grounds.
