McKay Johnson

McKay Johnson is a co-founder of ProKeep, the leading messaging platform for wholesale distributors. He believes that strong customer relationships drive business success, which is why he helped create ProKeep. At ProKeep, McKay leads Product and Customer Success, where he spends his days (and nights) mapping ProKeep’s product strategy and development so it closely aligns with their customer’s needs. Additionally, he directs a growing team of Customer Success fanatics helping distributors make their operations more efficient and accountable with messaging. Previously, he has started and helped lead successful B2B manufacturing, services and software companies. His past customers include Fortune 500 companies as well as Mom and Pop businesses but McKay is particularly inspired working with wholesalers because of their similar passion for building relationships. McKay is a graduate of Emory’s Goizueta Business School and Hampden Sydney College. Even before a stint in the Peace Corps, he enjoyed travel to far flung places. Now, he enjoys dragging his young family to slightly less exotic locales, the occasional fly fishing. After the work day, he is currently teaching his young son to ride a bike.
