Backed by Accel Partners & Highland Capital, Autoquake became the largest online car retailer in the UK within 4 years with a £60 million turnover & over 120 FTE. It was acquired by the CarShop group.
Reporting into the founder, I was primarily responsible for online vehicle sales (volume & margin).
Online sales increased from 700 cars in 2007 to 10,000 cars in 2010, through in-house development of online marketing channels: SEM (x20), SEO (x20), emails/CRM, eBay API and various other feed/API-based marketing channels. Other responsibilities included conversion rate optimisation & web analytics as well as yield management co-ownership with supply/buying teams.
