Alexis Santamaria Morales

I recently graduated Summa Cum Laude from Western Michigan University’s Haworth College of Business, earning my BBA in Human Resource Management. I am passionate about using HR to drive both organizational success and positive employee experiences, and I bring a strong foundation in data, operations, and talent processes. Through internships across banking, higher education, and manufacturing, I have developed hands-on experience in several core areas of HR. Key highlights include: - Supporting full-cycle recruitment by screening 200+ applicants, conducting interviews, and strengthening onboarding compliance. - Streamlining HR processes by digitizing 300+ personnel files in SharePoint and auditing job descriptions for accuracy and consistency. - Contributing to HR operations and strategy by supporting the annual incentive process, assisting with the implementation and integration of a new HRIS (Dayforce), and building dashboards and reports in Cognos Analytics to support data-driven decision making. - Facilitating trainings and presentations for campus supervisors, supporting onboarding and recruiting practices through Handshake, and developing a presentation on the Michigan Earned Sick Time Act to promote compliance and awareness. - Communicating effectively across diverse workforces through bilingual fluency in English and Spanish. I am excited to continue building my experience as I begin an internship with Meijer’s HR Talent Acquisition Solutions team. This fall, I will also be pursuing my Master of Human Resources and Labor Relations at Michigan State University. I am particularly interested in opportunities where I can contribute to talent acquisition, HR analytics, total rewards, and HR systems while continuing to grow in a fast-paced, people-focused environment. I am always open to connecting with HR professionals and exploring new opportunities.
