After seeing firsthand as a counterterrorism analyst in the US intelligence community the gap between the technology my colleagues and I had access to and what was available through private sector innovation, I was motivated to co-found Vannevar in 2019 with Brett Granberg who had seen this same gap as an investor at In-Q-Tel. Our goal with starting Vannevar was to build a next generation defense technology company that delivers on the promise of modern technology for the national security community.

Since then, Vannevar has built multiple AI products designed for US and allied defense partners competing with nation state aggressors in increasingly contested areas around the world. Our products are now deployed to 7,000+ users across the Department of War and the Joint Force as well as homeland security and law enforcement, intelligence community, and allied teams.
