I <3 QA. Software QA is a strong passion of mine, which usually occupies most of my day. Getting my hands on the latest technology, learning it, playing with it, testing it "in and out", improving quality of product and as a result improving end user experience, what could be more exciting and rewarding than that? My in-depth knowledge and experience as a SQA Engineer, SQA Lead, SQA Manager and now SQA Director, with authority over teams of local and offshore QA personnel, is certainly helping me to be very successful with testing s/w and h/w projects. Over the course of my career I have led the timely and accurate execution of QA efforts for several companies including TAB, iPrint, Localmusic.com, TiVo Inc. and now August Home Inc. At TiVo, as Sr. QA Manager for Certification and Compliance, I was responsible for coordinating and executing the certification efforts for all new hardware platform projects. I collaborated extensively with a network of external testing partners, including CableLabs, Netflix, BSquare, Rovi, Pandora, YouTube, Dolby, MoCa and Wi-Fi Alliance to ensure the satisfaction of all interoperability, security and performance standards. My strengths are team building, technical and cross-functional leadership, project planning and execution, resource management, strategic partner relations, cost analysis and optimization, custom testing solutions. These days I am deeply enjoying testing of the new gadgets: August Smart Locks, Smart Keypad, August Connect, Doorbell Cameras and other products. Providing daily test coverage for Android & iPhone Mobile Apps, Firmware, Server and Backend infrastructures. Covering testing for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth (BLE). Validating direct OTA (Over The Air) upgrades of Firmware Releases across many different chip sets. Creating and maintaining several QA Labs. Utilizing ALTA, AKTA and MOCHA automated tools for QA testing. Providing August Development with 24/7 QA concept. Mentoring SQA Team.
