Having co-founded the company alongside Karl in 2018, I built and launched the first version of the product and was responsible for hiring the engineering team and establishing the engineering strategy.

Anghami is the leading music streaming in the Middle East with more than 80 million users. I joined the startup in 2014 and spent 6 years scaling and leading the web engineering team. My team was responsible for the development and launch of multiple projects including the Anghami Web Player, Desktop App, Smart TV Apps, Smart Speakers integrations, and others. In addition to that, I worked closely with the Marketing, Sales, and Business Development teams on launching marketing campaigns and telco integrations in more than 10 countries.

I worked closely with koein.com's team insuring a smooth transition of the ownership of the project to the in-house team.
