The University of New Haven - Port Authority of New York and NJ Data Analytics Project
Aug 2025 - Dec 2025 (5 months)
Collaborated on a capstone project with the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey to analyse traffic patterns across major facilities, including the Holland Tunnel, Lincoln Tunnel, and George Washington Bridge.
Cleaned and analysed large-scale datasets using SQL, Excel, Python and R to uncover congestion drivers, peak travel periods, and toll violation trends.
Key Contributions: Identified factors including facility usage, evaluated congestion impacts from pricing changes, detected traffic anomalies, and built forecasting models(ARIMA, LSTM, Regression) to predict future demand.
Presented insights through interactive PowerBi dashboards, supporting data driven decision making.
