Talent-focused relationship builder and professional coach / Philanthropy and Nonprofit Sector
Greater Houston
I've spent over 15 years working at the intersection of people, leadership, and social impact — and everything I've done has pointed toward the same core belief: investing in people is the most powerful lever any organization has.
My career was built inside the nonprofit and philanthropic sector, primarily at Arnold Ventures and the Laura and John Arnold Foundation, where I grew from managing a national portfolio of public accountability initiatives to serving as Vice President of People and Culture. Along the way, I led grantmaking strategy, served as Chief of Staff, and spent 5 years building and scaling people practices — from recruiting and onboarding to leadership development and performance management — for a complex, mission-driven organization.
That work made me a better leader. It also made me a coach.
I'm now the founder of KMSK Consulting, where I partner with nonprofit and philanthropic leaders, emerging professionals, and philanthropists who are ready to lead with greater clarity, confidence, and intention. As a certified executive coach through Rice University's Doerr Institute for New Leaders, I bring both the practitioner's lens and the coach's ear — I've sat where my clients sit, and I know what it takes to move from stuck to momentum.
I'm also a bicultural leader, born in Caracas, Venezuela, and a proud Penn MSSP alum — experiences that shaped how I think about systems, equity, and the kind of change that actually lasts.
If you're navigating a leadership transition, building a team, shaping a philanthropic strategy, or simply ready to lead more intentionally — I'd love to connect.
