Hello! 👋 I'm Malén, a marketing specialist and communications professional. I'm an English-to-Spanish translator with a 5-year Bachelor's degree in Social Communication. Over the past decade, I've had the opportunity to combine three things I genuinely enjoy: languages, marketing, and public policy. My background spans the localization industry, B2B marketing, and data visualization for public policy. On one side, I've worked on English-to-Spanish translation, transcreation, machine translation post-editing, copywriting, and content adaptation projects, helping brands communicate naturally and effectively across languages and cultures. I'm especially interested in creative content. On the marketing side, I've developed content strategies, managed social media channels, organized webinars, created employer branding initiatives, worked on lead generation campaigns, and recently started focusing more on B2B marketing strategy, including ICP development, positioning, ABM, demand generation, and go-to-market planning. Another interest of mine is data visualization and information design for public policy decision-making. I enjoy researching language policies, as well as broader social issues related to inequality and social development. I've worked on projects involving public policy research, communication strategies, and the visualization of complex information to support decision-making processes. Throughout my career, I've been part of interdisciplinary and multicultural teams, collaborating with international companies, governmental institutions, NGOs, and language service providers. These experiences have taught me that successful communication is always a mix of strategy, creativity, and understanding people. When I'm not coming up with new ideas, you'll probably find me reading or camping. 📚🏕️
