    HOSA Grand Rounds Case Study
Throughout two months of preparation, my team and I researched the causes, symptoms, and treatment options of Pityriasis Rosea. I’ve also learned how to accurately portray doctor visits, document patient case files, depict the roles of various medical professionals including dermatologists and pharmacists, and perform lab tests like the KOH test to diagnose a fungal infection using a skin sample. Our final product was a fictional case study presentation that we presented to a panel of medical professionals. We earned 2nd place in the Finalists Competition.
